Earth Camp 2025
July 7th - 18th, 2025 | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 3:00pm. Over the course of two weeks, kids ages 8 to 13 will explore the local wetlands and woodlands, build science skills and connect with the natural world through hands-on STEAM activities. One-week options and aftercare plans are also available.

75th Annual Fence Show
Our open-air art market platforms over 100 local artists and craftspeople from across Staten Island. The museum’s front lawn transforms into an outdoor gallery, allowing you to view and purchase paintings, ceramics, prints, jewelry and more from the variety of local vendors. Breakdown: The Promise of Decay
Breakdown highlights the vibrancy of decay through contemporary artwork, objects from the museum’s collection, and scientific innovations in the curious world of decomposition. This interdisciplinary exhibition explores notions of time, waste, and the in-between.
Taking Care: The Black Angels of Sea View Hospital
In 1951, Staten Island made history when a breakthrough treatment for tuberculosis was tested at Sea View Hospital. Taking Care highlights the groundbreaking work, lives, and legacy of the Black nursing staff, who came to be known as the “Black Angels.”
